SEAN YORK’S BACKGROUND

Sean has had a passion for the outdoors at an early age. Growing up on a row crop farm in Southern Illinois has given him the background and work ethic that drives him to succeed for all his clients. At an early age, Sean would be found hunting, fishing, and exploring the woodland on his family’s 3000-acre farm.

Following his passion for the outdoors, Sean pursued a degree in Outdoor education from Southern Illinois University. Upon graduation, Sean found himself guiding outdoor excursions throughout the U.S., including Alaska, allowing him to summit some of the country’s highest peaks.

He then returned to Southern Illinois and worked with a forestry crew. He continued to grow his knowledge in land management and timber stand improvement while pursuing his love for the outdoors.

He then wanted to provide his children with the same upbringing that he had and returned to work the family farm. He now manages the family business and operates a land management business with his wife and two kids.
